NOTE: This message is for tenants with Viva Topics. Please disregard if you are not utilizing Viva Topics. 

Insights for Viva Topics will be rolling out to the Insights area under Search & Intelligence in the Microsoft 365 admin center. You will need to be a SharePoint admin and a Groups admin to see this dashboard.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 88696.

When this will happen:

We expect this rollout to begin in mid-March and expect the rollout to be completed by late March. 

How this will affect your organization:

Viva Topics administrators will have access to these new insights. End users will not be affected by this change.

As soon as Viva Topics is activated, you will see a count of the files processed and topics that are discovered from those files. As more topics are discovered, and your knowledge managers and users are engaged, you will see a visible topics count and a breakdown of the topics discovered, created by users, hidden by settings and removed.

To access these new insights:

1. In the Microsoft 365 admin center, expand Settings and select Search & intelligence.

2. On the Insights tab, select Viva Topics.

What you need to do to prepare:

No special preparation is needed but you may want to update your documentation as necessary.
