Message Summary

The digest email from Microsoft Viva, which surfaces important insights to help users understand and improve their work habits over time, will now be delivered in users’ inboxes twice a month. This will provide users more opportunities to see insights and recommendations to improve work patterns in the Digest email.

When this will happen:

Targeted release (select users and entire org): will begin rolling this out in late March and expect to complete rollout early April.

Standard: will begin rolling this out in mid-April and expect to complete rollout late May.

How this will affect your organization:

Users who previously received the Digest email once a month will begin receiving the email twice a month. The Digest email will be delivered in their inboxes in the first and third working week of the month. The email will also have a new subject line: “Your digest email.” Users will continue to see current insights across focus, well-being, network, and collaboration in their Digest email.

The digest email is available to all users who have either of these Microsoft 365 or Office 365 plans enabled: MyAnalytics (Full) or Insights by MyAnalytics.

  • Exchange Service Administrators or Company Administrators can disable this feature using Microsoft 365 admin center or Powershell
  • Your users can opt-out of the digest email by selecting Unsubscribe, located near the bottom of all digest emails.

What you need to do to prepare:

Review and assess the impact for your organization. Additionally, you might consider updating your training and documentation as appropriate.
