Message Summary

We are announcing the availability of Power Platform diagnostics monitoring with Azure Application Insights. Subscribing to the Power Platform diagnostics monitoring with Azure Application Insights will allow you to receive telemetry on operations that applications perform on your Dataverse database and model-driven apps.

What can I accomplish with these capabilities?
Telemetry from the Power Platform diagnostics monitoring with Azure Application Insights enables you to detect and measure specific operations to better understand whether your system is functioning optimally, or if there is negative impact affecting your services. If you’ve extended model-driven apps by using client-side JavaScript or added server-side logic by using plug-ins, you can see the impact these extensions might have on performance and find ways to optimize them, including changing the design if required.

Where can I learn more?
Power Platform diagnostics monitoring with Azure Application Insights is only available to customers with a paid and/or premium Dataverse license available for their tenant. For the Application Insights environment, you must have contributor, writer, or admin rights. Please see the following documentation for additional information.
