Message Summary

Outlook for Android will release smart move (or suggested folders) soon. This feature was released on Outlook for iOS in 2019.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 126518

When this will happen:

This will begin rolling out early May and complete in mid-May.

How this affects your organization:

Starting in late April, users will begin seeing up to three suggested folders when moving an email. Folders will only be surfaced when we’re confident that they’ll be helpful to you, so it’s possible you won’t see these suggestions for certain emails.

What you can do to prepare:

There is no action you need to take to prepare for this change, but you might consider updating your user documentation and alerting your help desk.

Additional Information:

Deploying Outlook for iOS and Android app configuration settings in Exchange Online
