Message Summary

If you are working with a partner, we are adding capabilities for your partner to better secure and manage your tenant on your behalf using Microsoft 365 Lighthouse. This will happen through the addition of a new service plan, “Microsoft 365 Lighthouse (Plan 1)” being added to one or more of your subscriptions.

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out mid-August and expect to be completed by early October.

How this will affect your organization:

There is no impact on your tenant. If you have a partner they will still need your permission to manage and secure your tenant using Microsoft 365 Lighthouse. With this added service plan and your permission by granting your trusted partner delegated admin privileges, they have the capability to monitor and act on your tenant.

What you need to do to prepare:

There is no action for you to prepare for this change.
