Message Summary

We are pleased to announce that the public preview of the Modern Hierarchy Security Editor User Interface is now available for Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) admins.

How will this affect me?
The new Modern Hierarchy Security Editor User Interface is the UI that the admins use to manage the Hierarchy Security models within their organizations. It is only available to Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) administrators and can be accessed from PPAC. In addition, it is an extension to the existing security models that use business units, security roles, sharing, and teams. It offers more granular access to records for an organization and helps to bring down maintenance costs.

Where can I learn more?
For more information on the setting up hierarchy security with the Modern Hierarch Security Editor User Interface, reference Set up hierarchy security – Hierarchy security – Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.
