Users joining Teams meetings will now see the hosting organization’s privacy url instead of Microsoft Privacy url.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 379610

When this will happen:

Targeted release: We will begin rolling out early March 2024 and expect to complete by mid-March 2024.

Standard and GCC: We will begin rolling out mid-March 2024 and expect to complete by late March 2024.

How this will affect your organization:

You will now be able to upload your own privacy statement for attendees to view in the Teams lobby. The privacy statement can be updated via the Microsoft 365 admin center>Privacy Profile.

What you need to do to prepare:

Review your current settings and implement your own privacy statement if desired.
