When this will happen:
Standard Release: We will begin rolling out late June 2023 and expect to complete by mid-July 2023.
How this will affect your organization:
Currently, Viva Goals Admins and Global admins can view the list of organizations and manage them by assigning the right owners or admins from the Viva Goals admin portal. With this update, IT admins will be able to regulate organizations efficiently with manual and automated controls to deactivate or reactivate organizations. Global admins and Viva Goals admins will be able to,
- Deactivate organizations that are not required or even permanently delete them.
- Configure to automatically deactivate and delete inactive organizations.
- Reactivate any deactivated organization within 90 days.
What you need to do to prepare:
- Learn about the Viva Goals admin portal for IT admins.
- Learn about various roles and permissions on Viva Goals and we recommend assigning Viva Goals Administrator(s) if you have members other than Global administrators to manage the Viva Goals policy settings for the company.
