Message Summary

We are delighted to announce a new feature release for Exchange Online Multi-geo environment. This feature allows admins to audit admin operations across all locations using the Search-UnifiedAuditLog cmdlet and Microsoft Purview. Starting in early March, this feature will be rolled out to tenants. You can begin testing the feature by using Microsoft Purview or Search-UnifiedAuditLog cmdlet and track admin operations. Please refer the below doc for more details on the options available:

When this will happen:

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out early March and expect to complete by early April.

How this will affect your organization:

This feature enables organizations or tenants hosted in exchange online by providing them with an audit trail of admin operations. This will help organizations ensure that all admin operations are being conducted in accordance with their internal policies and procedures.

What you need to do to prepare:

Please ensure that you have the required licenses to test this feature on purview. Additionally, confirm that you have the minimum permissions to audit the admin operation logs.
