Message Summary

This post is associated with the previous post announcing Microsoft 365 Copilot – MC528800 (March ’23).

Whether or not you are participating in the Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Access Program, there are a few steps you can start taking today to help your organization get prepared for such experiences in the future. For example, you can learn more about getting your data prepared and how to detect and prevent oversharing. New technical content is available to help you learn more and answer some of the common questions you may have about how Copilot works, as well as about the privacy and security of your data.

How this will affect your organization:

The Early Access Program (EAP) for Microsoft 365 Copilot does not affect your Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) users unless you have received and accepted the invitation to participate in the program. Admins for customers participating in EAP will be able to manage Copilot licenses the same way as other products by assigning and reassigning user licenses in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Additional admin controls may be available in the future.

What you need to do to prepare:

Learn more about getting your data prepared for Copilot and how to detect and prevent oversharing by watching this video.
