Message Summary

Share to Teams now supports App based Link Unfurling. Now if a user uses ‘Share to Teams’ module to share a link which supports App based Link Unfurling,

1) the link will unfurl into an Adaptive Card if the App is already installed for the user.
2) the user will be prompted to install the App if not already installed for the user.

This feature is now available.

How this will affect your organization:

It will not impact the tenant or admin. However, it will impact the user when they share a link which supports App based Link Unfurling.

What you need to do to prepare:

Admins, Tenants and Users don’t need to do anything to enable this feature. If App based link unfurling is enabled for normal Teams messages, it will be auto enabled in ‘Share to Teams’.
