From Microsoft Corporation
Technical Bulletin: MC384779 · Published May 25, 2022

Message Summary

As previously mentioned in MC220490 (August ’20) and MC237612 (February ’21), Microsoft Forms will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) and below. Users are recommended to use a more modern browser, which is where we will continue to invest our development resources. Examples of a modern browser include Microsoft Edge and the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Chrome on Android, and Safari on iOS.

Key points

  • Timing: Support for IE11 will be retired in late June.
  • Action: Upgrade to modern browser

How this will affect your organization:

Any users still accessing Microsoft Forms via IE11, or older versions of Internet Explorer will be blocked from accessing the Forms site to create forms, analyze forms, or respond to forms. This block will match the experience of other Office 365 web apps.

We will be rolling out this experience starting in mid-June and expect to complete by late June.
