Message Summary
You can now configure the availability of meeting transcription on Teams Mobile for users in your tenant, who can start transcription during the meeting and view meeting transcripts after the meeting on Microsoft Teams for Android and iOS.

When this will happen:
Standard Release (if applicable): We will begin rolling out mid-August and expect to complete by early September.
How this will affect your organization:
The existing “Allow transcription” policy for Teams Desktop will now also apply to Teams Mobile so you can configure the availability of meeting transcription for your tenant.
If transcription is enabled, users will see “Start transcription” right after “Start recording” in meeting more options menu. They can start transcription during the meeting, and view transcripts after the meeting via Transcript in Meeting Ended message in Meeting Chat or Recording and Transcripts under Meeting Chat More tab.

You can choose to enable or disable meeting transcription via “Allow transcription” policy.
