Message Summary

The Modern Translator feature in Microsoft Outlook (Windows Desktop) is making changes that may require users and tenant administrators to take steps to ensure continuity of service. You may need to either install the latest version the Current Channel or Monthly Enterprise Channell along with security patches for the July 2023, January 2023, and July 2023 Semi Annual Channels and 2107 Perpetual Volume Licensing Channel, which became available on December 12, 2023. 

When this will happen:

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out mid-January 2024 and expect to complete end of February 2024.

How this will affect your organization:

Translation requests in Outlook Windows Desktop will start to fail if this feature is not installed.
