Technical Bulletin MC467610 · Published Nov 16, 2022

Message Summary

Integrations in Viva Goals help save time and energy by automatically updating your key results and projects through connections to other applications from Microsoft and third parties. These integrations allow data to flow from the connected applications into Viva Goals so that results and projects are up to date. As Viva Goals is continuing to grow support for more integrations, we will be adding new capabilities for global admins to manage Viva Goals integrations for all organizations in their tenant.

When this will happen:

Rollout is expected to begin in late December and is expected to be completed by late January.

How this will affect your organization:

Organization owners and administrators in Viva Goals can enable integrations for their Goals organizations. As a global admin, you can control who can enable integrations by enabling/disabling user permissions to create and manage organizations in Viva Goals through organization creation permissions.

We will also be launching new integrations for PowerBI, and MS Planner, MS SQL, Dynamics, Jira, Zapier, and Workplace. MS Planner will be available for connection by default.

What you need to do to prepare:

There is no action required at this time to prepare for this update.
