Message Summary

We will be retiring the Translation feature in OneNote for Windows 10 from the start of November 2023.

When this will happen:

November 2023

How this will affect your organization:

Once the feature is deactivated, it will no longer provide any translations. However, this will not affect your ability to use OneNote for Windows 10 or cause any data loss. This change applies to all users.

What you need to do to prepare:

We recommend downloading OneNote from the Microsoft Office store for free or purchase/subscribe to one of the following Microsoft 365 plans: Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Microsoft 365 Apps for business or Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise.
