Message Summary

As we focus our efforts on improving the Outlook on Edge sidebar, which offers a more seamless and integrated experience for our users, we are retiring the Outlook browser extension. and it will not be accessible after November 30, 2023. This applies to both Edge and Chrome browsers.

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out this change in late November and expect to complete by late December.

How this will affect your organization:

Once this change is implemented, the Outlook browser extension will no longer function. Users should transition to leveraging the Outlook on Edge sidebar, the Outlook app or Outlook web on their browser (Edge or Chrome).

You may consider updating your training and documentation as appropriate.
