Message Summary

To facilitate efficient scheduling and awareness of global time zones, Outlook will help meeting organizers find overlapping times across global time zones. This will help enable seamless collaboration among team members dispersed across global locales.

We initially rolled this feature out in September and based on your feedback we are making additional enhancements that we want to make you aware of.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 170783

When this will happen:

Rollout on these additional enhancements will begin in mid-October 2023 and is expected to be complete by late October 2023.

How this will affect your organization:

This update will be available in Outlook Web Application without any additional action. Every time you schedule a meeting in Outlook on the web or Monarch, you will get a tool tip message in case attendees that are in a different time as soon as open the new event compose form and add attendees. The tool tip will advise you to navigate to the scheduling assistant which will help the organizer on local time conversions thereby helping the organizer to take more informed decision.
