Technical Bulletin MC335282 · Published Feb 23, 2022

Message Summary

Upcoming, we will be retiring the health status feature in the Office cloud policy service.

Note: If you don’t use the Office cloud policy service in the Microsoft 365 Apps admin center, you can disregard this message.

Key points

  • Timing: Beginning in mid-March and completed by late March, the health status feature in the Office cloud policy service will be disabled.
  • Action: review and assess
  • Roll-out: tenant level

How this affects your organization:

When retired, administrators will no longer see the health status column on the policy configurations table. When it is removed, the health status feature in the Office cloud policy service will be retired and will no longer be available to any tenants.

In the future (no known date at this time), we plan to provide advanced health reporting and compliance monitoring features for the Office cloud policy service. We’ll provide more information in another message center post when those features are available.
