Message Summary

Today, Tuesday, July 11th, 2023, we announced that Azure Active Directory will be rebranded as ‘Microsoft Entra ID’. Historically this service has been represented under the service name ‘Identity Service’, within Service health and Message center experience. To align on the changes included in today’s announcement, ‘Identity Service’ will be rebranded to ‘Microsoft Entra’ and represent Service health and change communications for that family of products.

This will be rolled out to Service health and Message center by end of July.

How this will affect your organization:

Communications related to “Microsoft Entra” and its family of products may appear under “Microsoft Entra” in Service health and Message center.
