Message Summary

With this update Microsoft EHR connector will be able to track each individual disconnect when a guest leaves the initial lobby after joining a Microsoft Teams EHR Connector virtual visit via Teams. Until now the disconnect signal was not being sent to Epic to show a guest has left the meeting from initial Lobby. This was only happening in v1.1 or v1.2 of the Microsoft Teams EHR Connector.

When this will happen:

Standard Release: We will begin rolling out mid-June 2023 and expect to complete by late June 2023.

How this will affect your organization:

EHR Connector provides the ability to launch virtual appointments in Teams from within an EHR. We are improving the ability to log status of patients waiting in lobby with this change.

What you need to do to prepare:

Organizations are not required to take any steps.
