Technical Bulletin MC340284 · Published Mar 8, 2022

Message Summary

Upcoming, we will be cleaning up the SafeLinksPolicy cmdlet params used as part of Set-SafeLinksPolicy and New-SafeLinksPolicy cmdlets.

When this will happen:

We will begin rolling out these updates in late March and expect to complete rollout early April.

How this will affect your organization:

The following changes will be made:

  1. Rename: IsEnabled to EnableSafelinksForEmail
  2. Remove duplicate parameters for: DoNotTrackClicks and DoNotAllowClickThrough in SafelinksPolicy
  3. TrackClicks and AllowClickThrough: will not be changed or updated
  4. Remove the parameter: EnableSafeLinksForWebAccessCompanion from the AtpPolicyForO365 cmdlet

What you need to do to prepare:

This change will not impact any existing Safe Links Policy settings. Going forward, you will need to use the updated Safe Links Policy parameters to set your Safe Links Policy using Exchange Online PowerShell V2.
